Josh Elrod The Dinner Party

Obsessed with drawing from an early age, Elrod has spent his life creating images, in one way or another. After receiving a commercial art award at Hillsboro High School, he went on to attend the Art Institute of Chicago. He spent many years pursuing his other passion, drumming, which was expressed with the dub, noise and pop groups he formed and played with. For 10 years, Elrod performed in New York and internationally as a "Blue Man" in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway phenomenon Blue Man Group. He founded the Daily Drawing Agreement, a daily drawing practice that has included many New York artists. His work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville.

Along with his wife Ivy, he is the co-founder and creative director of Wilder, a design showroom and creative services firm that designed The Iris Motel and programmed this opening event.
